Support Milwaukee Public Schools

SEIU members are pleased to announce the endorsement of Larry Miller, 5th district candidate and Director Peter Blewett, 6th district candidate for Milwaukee Public School Board.

“Strong public schools are vital in building healthy communities and a prosperous economy,” explained Mike Thomas. “That’s why SEIU is proud to stand behind the proven leadership of Peter Blewett and Larry Miller.”

SEIU represents about 2,000 workers in food service, building service, and handicap children’s assistants, and nurses within the school district. Each candidate was interviewed by members who were impressed with the candidates’ commitment to improving public education and the funding for our community’s schools.

Mike Thomas is president of SEIU Healthcare Local 150 - WI, and serves as vice-president for the SEIU Wisconsin State Council.
