SEIU Stands Against 'No Match' Crackdown

SEIU Members joined Voces de la Frontera on September
12th for a Day of Action to stop the S.S. 'No Match' crack-down and demand
rights for all immigrant workers.
10,000 people rallied in Milwaukee to oppose new rules from the Bush
Administration that put 8 million jobs under threat.
A federal judge temporarily blocked the Social Security Administration (SSA)
from implementing the new
“no-match” social security regulations until after an
October 1st federal court hearing. Shortly after that hearing,
a judge will decide whether or not to permanently strike down the no-match
rule.
