About the Council

By joining together, we achieve what we could not accomplish alone

SEIU is the fastest growing union in Wisconsin, representing over 15,000 men and women working in healthcare, nursing homes, homecare, public services and building services.

SEIU provides the vehicle to gain a voice where we work, decent wages, affordable health care, pensions, safe working conditions, and a hand in the decisions that affect our daily lives.  SEIU also works in coalition with consumers of services our members provide to enhance economic opportunity and the quality of life in our state by advocating and improving those services. 

SEIU is a vibrant organization whose mission is accomplished through several interrelated activities:
